Connect your Google Ads account to start creating AI-powered campaigns. This guide covers the setup wizard process.

Setup Wizard

The platform connection follows a 4-step wizard process:

Step 1: Select Platform

Choose Google Ads from the available platforms. Click "Connect" to start OAuth authentication.

Step 2: Google OAuth Authorization

You'll be redirected to Google's secure authorization page to grant permissions for:

• View and manage your Google Ads campaigns
• Access account information
• Read performance data and metrics

Step 3: Select Account

Choose your primary Google Ads account. The wizard supports:

• Single Account: Automatically selected
• Manager Accounts (MCC): Proceed to managed account selection

Step 4: Managed Account Selection (If Applicable)

For Manager Accounts, select the specific account where campaigns will be created:

• Browse through managed accounts
• Navigate account hierarchy with breadcrumbs
• Select the working account for campaign operations

Account Types

Regular Accounts

• Standard Google Ads accounts for running campaigns
• Best for: Individual businesses

Manager Accounts (MCC)

• Control multiple Google Ads accounts
• Can't run campaigns directly
• Best for: Agencies or multi-account businesses

Managed Accounts

• Controlled by a Manager Account
• Where campaigns are actually created
• Best for: Individual business units

Security & Privacy

What AdeptAds can access:

• Campaign performance data and settings
• Account information (name, currency, timezone)
• Bid and budget management capabilities

What AdeptAds cannot access:

• Your Google account password
• Personal Gmail or other Google services
• Financial information beyond ad spend data

Revoking access: Visit Google Account Permissions anytime to remove AdeptAds access.
